On 16th June 2018, team from Department of Food Technology, Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University won the first place from the national food science and technology quiz competition, FoSTAT-Nestle Quiz Bowl 2018. The team members are Mr. Kasidaj Sivakul, Miss Chanita Kertbundit, Miss Chawanrat Sukhuwit, and Miss Yanika Bamroongwongsiri, 4th year undergraduated students supervised by Assoc. Prof. Kanitha Tananuwong. This year, Chulalongkorn team defeated 74 other teams from public and private universities. The first runner-up, second runner-up and third runner-up was the team from Mahidol University-Kanchanaburi Campus, Mahidol University-Main Campus and Srinakharinwirot University, respectively.
