On 15th June 2019, team from Department of Food Technology, Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University won the first runner-up title at the national food science and technology quiz competition, FoSTAT-Nestle Quiz Bowl 2019. The team members are Miss Chayanit Suechaicharoen, Miss Thitipa Thirawattanavong, Miss Thitirat Luangla-or, and Miss Natchaya Hanprerakriengkrai, 4th year undergraduated students supervised by Assoc. Prof. Kanitha Tananuwong. This year, 73 teams from public and private universities participated in this competition. The team from Kasetsart University was the champion. The second runner-up and third runner-up was the team from Mahidol University and King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, respectively.
